Who we are
Medford Surplus Group takes its name from the domain, and its identity from the work: decommissioning. Not as a sideline or a specialty reserved for unusual situations, but as the operating model — the lens through which every appraisal is written, every purchase offer is structured, and every disposition path is chosen. We are organized around the specific circumstances that occur when a manufacturing facility needs to stop, reset, or exit entirely. A plant closure is not one problem; it is a layered set of asset, liability, timing, and stakeholder pressures that all arrive at once. The companies that handle it well are the ones who walked in knowing what the equipment was worth before the first conversation started, who had a buyer network already active rather than one to be assembled, and who could absorb the full scope of a floor rather than cherry-picking what was easy to move. That is how Medford Surplus Group is structured and how it operates. The coverage is intentional — rotational mold equipment, rubber and silicone machinery, fabrication assets, and every other category on a production floor are all inside our scope because a decommissioning specialist who leaves categories on the table is not actually a decommissioning specialist. We operate across North America with a global buyer network that is live before we ever quote a number, and we bring that reach to every engagement regardless of scale.
